Aussie swimwear + photographer = nice beach photos!

[ 0 ] 13/07/2012 |

Its 8am on a Friday morning and I’m in the UK where it’s currently 10 degrees outside and hosing down with rain – now I know British Summers are not always the best but this is starting to get on my nerves. The thoughts of wearing a swimsuit on a Welsh beach would fill anyone with dread, which is why I’m showing you a bunch of great Aussie photo’s featuring Gypsea swimwear created by photographer Scott Bauer and designer Emma Jones….it might warm you up!

With its Australian roots, graphic printed designs and inherent “surf culture cool”, Gypsea is fast becoming a cult favourite in Australia and the designs do make you think of the beach and warmth.

Photographer, Scott has chronicled the world of surfing professionally for the past 12 years and has been published Internationally. He told Swimwearblog.net “Nature has been the main inspiration for Gypsea for sure. There’s so many amazing things to draw inspiration from in nature, I particularly like the flowing natural lines that you see in nature and the amazing colours. I think people appreciate it a lot more when things are not made up as such like a random pattern or graphic. You’ve draw your inspiration from something living and flowing through photography and applied to the suits, it’s very real.”

Check out some of the images below and let us know it they warm you up!
