For the 2012 collections creator of Paolita Swimwear, Anna Paola interviewed women about what makes them feel comfortable and confident at the beach. As a result, shapes and lines that complement the female figure are in abundance.
Anna Paola told Swimwearblog.net, “I always found a fascination in what we consider as “exotic” and I like playing with those notions. Historically, when trade routes opened across the world, paintings of exotic places and women stirred the imagination of the people here. Textiles and prints from faraway places were making their place in the lives of high society as a mark of prestige. Explorers would sail into the horizon to return with new and exciting finds, from archaeological digs to new theories on evolution. I tie all this in with sensitivity to the female body, always trying to maintain a balance between quality, design and cut.”
